On 30 May 2023, Mr. Sun Xiaoguang, Deputy General Manager of Kewei Steel, together with colleagues from the South American office, travelled to Colombia to participate in the 6-day Bogota Construction Expo in Colombia.

The exhibition kicked off at the Bogota Exhibition Centre! Kewei Steel was invited to participate in the exhibition, which consolidated the existing co-operative relationship, explored a large number of potential customers and laid a foundation for developing new markets.

Expoconstruction & Expodesign is one of the exhibitions focusing on building materials, infrastructure and design in Colombia, which is jointly organised by the Colombian Construction Federation and CORFERIAS, a famous exhibition company in Bogotá, and has been held for 15 times so far. It is one of the most important platforms to promote the development and growth of the construction, infrastructure and design sectors in the Pacific Rim, Central America and the Caribbean. 2019’s show had a net exhibition area of 23,654 square metres and received 61,555 professional visitors over the six days of the show. With 553 exhibitors from 20 countries, around 30% of the visitors were purchasing managers who could place orders on the spot, 82% of the visitors were looking for new products and returned largely satisfied, and around 93% of the exhibitors felt that face-to-face communication with the visitors was effective.
